You know, I was 12 when I first came here. This was the first site I had ever made an account on. So naturally, I made myself sound like a douche a lot over the forums and everywhere else. When I realized nobody wants kids screwing up the place (this was two years ago and young kids were by no means actually common on this site), I decided to start posting intelligently. I made sure I used proper grammar, and I kept my cool. It sucks that we have to watch what we say more so than the common 16-18 year olds here, but it's just the way it is. I turned out alright. I'm now a flash animator, and frequent contributor to the forums.

It's ok if you want to hide your age on your user page, it's probably the best thing to do. Just remember that you don't have to answer to people bringing you down about your age. Just ignore them. They say that because they have nothing better to say. Be a step above them and reply to the other parts of their message, if there was anything else at all.
