God, this was confusing... Here are my recommendations:

=NEWS POSTS=

I recommend making one single news post for a project with a more professional feel to it (capitalizing sentences goes a long way), it would be an incentive for people to help you. I had to go back a few posts to know what you were even talking about, but I'm a bit more patient than the average NGer, I have a feeling I'm one of very few people that did this. In the news post you're supposed to talk about the submission's development more than it's content:
A very short, very light description of the content (random violence, Mario parody, Naruto parody, your own story);
The style (stick, madness, sprite, your own art);
Who will be helping you (voice actors, coders, musicians);
Things you believe you'll be needing help with.
After the development phase (on the day of the submission) update the news post with a new section (sort of like what i'm doing in between "=="s) dedicated to what the submission has become:
Total frames\duration;
How much time you spent on it;
Special thanks to people that aren't co-authored but helped with smaller aspects (recognizing people for their help is a good way to increase the probability of them helping you again in the future);
Its score when it passes\fails judgement.

=AUTHOR'S COMMENTS=

When you make the submission, in the author's comments section, try not to talk about the development. At this point, nobody really cares about anything but the content itself. For example, try not to tell people what you told them in the news post about "this took 2 weeks". Your author's comments on Aqua Man Episode 4 were good, except for not capitalizing the sentences.

As for your question, I still don't know exactly what game you're talking about. I'll be glad to give you my input once i know what it is.

Well I suggest you keep your idea and resubmit. It did not look all that bad. It would not get a super good score but you definitely should get a high 2 like 2.89 or something like that. I know that's not really appealing but you all ready put in the work just tell ppl how to fucking shoot this time! I would love to play it sometime anyways. So resubmit with better instruction!!!
